KULP Genetics
As a young graduate from Texas A&M University’s veterinary school in 1981, Anne Kulp knew she would eventually own Simmental cattle. In 2016, that idea became a reality when she and her husband, David, purchased their first 9 head of fullblood Fleckvieh Simmental. Building their herd to the roughly 90 head it is today, the Kulps have incorporated genetics from all over North America. These excellent genetics are available for sale in both embryos and live cattle, for you to incorporate into your own operation.
As a fourth-generation dairyman, David has bred and raised some of the finest dairy cattle in the U.S., with bulls of several breeds in prominent bull studs. Combining with Anne’s extensive experience in embryo transfer services, the couple began Kulp Genetics in 2000 as an on-farm embryo transfer service and later focused their attention on developing their own ET inventory for exporting overseas to meet the growing demands for Fleckvieh Simmental cattle. They currently have a variety of embryos and cattle for sale, which you can view online or contact us to come by and see in person.
